Important Things to Know
Camp7 is a sacred place – please help us keep it that way by respecting the property and treating it as if it were your home. We know you may be on vacation and want you to enjoy yourself, but please be respectful of the accommodations.
Electric/Water
Outlets
There are two outlets on the front porch of the cabin. There is also an outlet at “the round” protected by a bushel of branches.

Water Spigots
There are several water spigots located around the property. You will find the red-handled spigots at the athletic field, at “the round,” at the bathroom building, and along the road leading down to the cabin. We have installed barrier logs in front of the spigot by the cabin to help prevent guests from backing up into the spigot when pulling out of the driveway. The water from all the spigots is drinkable, so be sure to stay hydrated and fill up those water bottles!
Water System
The cabin has a modern water softening/purification system. You may hear the water system regenerating in the middle of the night during your stay. This is a normal maintenance function and no action on your part is necessary.
Bear Aware

We’re in Colorado, which means we live in bear country. Our outdoor garbage cans are bear proof/resistant, using a special locking mechanism which requires two hands to open.
Please watch this video to see how to operate the garbage cans.
If you are staying in any of the outdoor dwellings (glamping teepee, safari tent, camping teepee), there is a bear proof container directly west of the teepee site, on the mesa overlook, at the edge of the woods. This bear proof container may be used for storage of your scented and/or food items during sleeping hours or when you’re out having fun on the property. Contact us for further information if you have questions about bear safety.
Wildlife & Pets
There are many types of wildlife around Camp7 including deer, elk, skunk, wild turkey, mountain lion, black bear, rock squirrel, marmot, rabbit and several types of birds of prey. And if you’re lucky enough, you might see the Camp7 snipe!
We respect the wildlife around the property and ask that you please do the same. Absolutely no hunting.

While we are dog and cat lovers, because of the large amount of wildlife at Camp7 and around the property, we respect their habitat and therefore ask that you leave your pets at home.

Smoking Policy
You may smoke outside of the cabin, but you MUST take fire precautions at all times and put your butts out completely. Please pick up all cigarette butts and dispose of properly.
Absolutely NO VAPING inside of the cabin. This leaves an invisible film that makes it tough to clean.
Breakages
We understand that sometimes accidents happen! Should you break anything and/or notice broken items, please let us know immediately so we can resolve the issue before our next guests arrive. Thank you.
